Love the green hutch and how you styled it. And your little neighbors are so stinkin cute. I love to dine al fresco and enjoy the bounty of the season. I decorated a tiered tray, that I made two years ago, very simply.
From here you can see a sneak peek into our dining room which is the next room on the tour. I finally found my stockings at Marshall’s (Queenwest brand 19″ stockings). I feel like you just know when you’ve found the right ones.
Small Kitchen Organization Ideas
Your home is so beautiful and cozy! We had real trees for 8 years, lived at my moms over last Christmas and she has a fake one. We bought a fake one at Costco this year and I will never go back! We have a fluffy rug in our living room and the last thing I needed was needles in it.
Your home is beautiful – as always! We love “baseball man” and the fun memories and fun your family is creating with him 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your summer. It also means that I purge things to keep it clean, simple and not overly stuffed. I share that all the time; when you decorate, immediately get rid of what you don’t love.
Simple Declutter Challenge – Decluttering the Office and Living Room
As a mom of children adopted from close to the Russian border, I loved learning about and observing some Orthodox Christmas dinner traditions with them. Maybe you can share some of those recipes in the future! The 23rd Annual Tellico Village Charity Home Tour and Silent Auction was held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 1-5 p.m.
Love all the softness and beautiful decor! I’ve never noticed your glass doors leading to the kitchen before. I balanced the brown of the pumpkins on the other side of the mantel with some vintage books and a decorative acorn. You have decorated your home so beautifully and creatively.
Christmas Card Holder Idea
Would make a great Father’s Day surprise. Coastal really does say, “summer,” doesn’t it? Your home looks beautiful all dressed in aqua and turquoise with touches of neutral. You are amazing to decorate for a summer home tour while packing to take your daughter on a long road trip.
Anyway, they have been hiding him around the house in hopes that he would accidentally make it onto the blog someday. Now, it is a running joke and one I share in my Instagram stories when I find him. The kids have had a blast with hiding him every day and will be so happy to see him here in the post.
You have a beautiful home and family but a more beautiful heart. Thank you for all your delicious recipes I am always making. I enjoy watching you show us how to do and the funny videos you make me laugh. Now all we need is a nativity set.
The red in each room just pops and is so beautiful. Your kitchen is always a favorite and then your dining room looks so perfect with the red plaid. The gingle belll name stands is genius. I have to say that my favorite is your bedroom, that gorgeous gray velvet and then those red pillows totally stole my heart. Thanks so much for joining the tours, such a beautiful home. My Christmas tiered tray was such a hit last year, that I just had to decorate it again.
Each year we decorate a live tree in between the heart of our home, the kitchen and the family room. We have lived here over three years and I’ve never placed garland over the sink. So I’m thrilled that I finally did!
Every inch of your home and summer decor is precious. And those quilts from a yard sale – Amazing find! Hope you have a wonderful summer making those memories. The easiest way to switch-up decor for any season, holiday, celebration, etc. is one of my favorite things – wood letter boards! This board is one of my favorite things right now.
The dining room got a slightly different look this year with collected thrift store villages painted white. While I have scaled back on my decorating, I've still decorated the downstairs for all of the get-togethers that we have had during the season. My inspiration for our Christmas tablescape this year was the red buffalo check runnerand the Merry embroidered napkins. I love they way they compliment each other and add a nice festive look to our table. As you come in and pass through the living room, you reach our kitchen. In here, you’ll see that I kept with the accent red theme in just a few places.
Just search for Artisan Home Tour and you will find all of the homes listed with maps, information and more! You’ll be able to leave comments about the things you liked and see photos of each home. Plus, whichever way you purchased your TourTicket, you can turn it into a digital ticket when you download the free app.
🙂 Pinning if Pinterest will allow. I started decorating outside with these hydrangeas. I found this bucket at a flea market over the summer and thought it was just perfect to display what’s left of my hydrangeas. I paid over $20 for that old bucket which I thought was too much at the time (or maybe I’m just cheap) but I’m glad I did.
A fun beaded pillow continues the seaside theme in the living area. We selected a cool blue and white color palette in this space. I’ve been stalking every store around for mini white pumpkins for weeks and I finally found some last weekend. I spotted them outside a local farmer’s market as my husband and I were driving by and I nearly jumped out of the moving car. Here’s a closer look at the mantel.
